Are the aprons at risk for cracks since they will still have some type of crease or fold versus hanging them on a hanger apron? Do you have any literature to support that the lead is safe for the peg apron hangers?

On this rack the aprons should be hung by the shoulders as depicted in the product video. Creasing is not a concern if the aprons are hung accurately. A crease concern would typically occur if an apron is folded for storage in a manner which causes the weight of the apron to put pressure on the fold causing a crease in the internal protective material. Unfortunately, we do not have any literature specific to this topic.
